Jr. College of Commerce commenced its functioning in 1982 with English as the medium of instruction. It is one of the renowned educational institutes.

It was started to provide educational facilities for local students, especially girls whose parents were reluctant to send them to colleges outside Deolali, as well as students from nearby rural areas of all backgrounds. Recognized by Zilla Parishad Nasik, the college today not only competes with reputed and long-standing institutions but often surpasses them in results.

The institute has made remarkable progress under the visionary leadership of its management. It is supported by knowledgeable, experienced, and empathetic teachers who act as effective counsellors. Educational facilities are regularly upgraded to meet society’s evolving needs, and CCTVs are installed to ensure discipline and security.

The addition of the Science faculty by Shanker Education Society is a proud milestone, aimed at helping local students avoid long commutes to distant colleges.
